Georges Hospitality Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates the MyBarber mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). We are registered in Scotland, UK, and act as the Data Fiduciary for your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and safeguard your information in compliance with UK (United Kingdom) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using our Service, you provide your consent to the collection and use of your information as described herein.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect data that is necessary to provide and improve our Service.
- Personal Identification Information: Name, Email Address, and Mobile Number to create your account, verify your identity, and facilitate communication for bookings.
- User-Generated Content: Photos, reviews, or comments you voluntarily submit. We use this to display your feedback to other users and Georges Hospitality owners.
- Payment Information: Payments are processed by our secure third-party gateway, Razorpay. We do not store, access, or handle your sensitive card information like full card numbers or CVV. We only receive a transaction ID and payment status from Razorpay to confirm bookings.
- Technical & Usage Data: Device ID, IP address, browser type, operating system, and interaction data within the app (e.g., screens visited, features used). This is collected for security, to prevent fraud, and to analyze and improve app performance.
3. How and Why We Use Your Information (Purpose Limitation)
Your data is used for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes:
- To Provide Core Services: To enable appointment booking, service discovery, and connect you with Georges Hospitality partners.
- To Process Payments: To securely facilitate transactions for booked services through Razorpay.
- To Personalize Your Experience: To recommend Georges Hospitalitys, remember your preferences, and show relevant content.
- For Analytics & Improvement: We use services like Google Analytics and Firebase to understand user behavior, identify bugs, and improve app functionality. This data is aggregated and anonymized wherever possible.
- For Communication:
- Transactional Messages: To send booking confirmations, reminders, and updates via SMS, Email, or Push Notifications. You cannot opt-out of these essential communications.
- Promotional Messages: To inform you about new offers, discounts, or features. You can opt-out of these communications at any time via the link in the email or your app settings.
- For Legal & Security Purposes: To enforce our terms, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations mandated by Indian law.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted third parties when necessary:
- Georges Hospitality Partners: We share your name and booking details with the Georges Hospitality you book an appointment with.
- Payment Gateways: Your information is shared with Razorpay to process payments. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Analytics Providers: Anonymized or aggregated data is shared with Google and Firebase to help us analyze app performance.
- Legal Authorities: We may disclose your information if required by law, a court order from a competent jurisdiction (e.g., Scotland courts), or in response to a valid request from law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
5. Your Rights Under the DPDPA, 2023
As a user in India, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You can request a summary of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Correction & Erasure: You may update, correct, or delete your account information at any time through the app's profile settings. Deleting your account will remove your personal data from our active databases, subject to our data retention policy.
- Right to Grievance Redressal: You have the right to have your grievances addressed. Please contact our Grievance Officer for any issues.
- Right to Nominate: You have the right to nominate another individual who can exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity. To exercise these rights, please contact our Grievance Officer.
6. Data Retention and Security
Retention: We retain your personal information only as long as your account is active or as needed to fulfill our business and legal obligations under Indian law (e.g., for tax and accounting purposes).
Security: We are committed to protecting your data. We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and access controls, to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Note: The Grievance Officer shall acknowledge the complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

Terms & Conditions
By creating an account, booking a service, or otherwise using the MyBarber platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
1. Service Description
MyBarber is a technology platform that connects users seeking grooming services with independent third-party Georges Hospitalitys and stylists ("Georges Hospitality Partners"). We are solely a facilitator and are not responsible for the services provided by the Georges Hospitality Partners.
2. User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration and booking.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Lawful Conduct: You agree not to use the platform for any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. You will not upload any content (reviews, photos) that is defamatory, obscene, or hateful. Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
3. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations
- Payments: All payments for services booked through MyBarber are processed via our third-party payment gateway, Razorpay.
- Georges Hospitality Policies: Each Georges Hospitality Partner has its own policies regarding service delivery, cancellations, and refunds. By booking, you agree to abide by the specific Georges Hospitality's policies.
- Cancellations & No-Shows:
- You may cancel or reschedule an appointment through the app, subject to the Georges Hospitality Partner's cancellation policy.
- Georges Hospitalitys may charge a cancellation fee for late cancellations or no-shows. This is at the sole discretion of the Georges Hospitality Partner.
- MyBarber is not responsible for any cancellation fees or disputes related to them.
- Refunds: All refund requests are subject to the Georges Hospitality Partner's refund and cancellation policies. MyBarber will facilitate approved refunds but is not the decision-maker.
4. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
- Platform Only: MyBarber acts as an intermediary. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by Georges Hospitality Partners.
- No Liability: We are not liable for any disputes, delays, poor service quality, dissatisfaction, or any personal injury or property damage arising from the services provided by a Georges Hospitality Partner. Any claims must be settled directly with the Georges Hospitality Partner.
- Indirect Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Georges Hospitality Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the MyBarber platform, including the brand name, logo, software, and design, is the exclusive property of Georges Hospitality Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without our express written permission. You retain ownership of the content you upload (e.g., reviews), but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it on our platform.
6. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are deemed to be a risk to the MyBarber community.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
